妹島和世來自日本，是2010年普立茲建築獎的得主之一(另一位為西澤立衛)。

這是在2010年2月完工的勞力士學習中心，裡頭包含了圖書館、展覽室、工作室、咖啡廳、店鋪、停車場...等空間。

這是第一次有建築成功地讓我感覺到評論家口中的那種流動性，我對於流動性的感覺來自於這建築跳脫出了建築免不了得沉重感，製造出一種不屬於植入地面的水泥植物的感覺，像雲或水一樣地柔軟輕盈。整個建築的方形面積如何創造出流動性？那些大小不一的圓形挖孔，使建築以一種較無遮蔽的圓潤方式接觸到天空與可能存在的草原或者是戶外空間，你甚至可以透過隆起的基座穿越建築的底部，以一種毫無限制的方式划進。

建築不是框起一個範圍構築出城堡與空間，在這個作品中，我看見了真正新穎的概念，而不再只是陳腔濫調地猥褻那些形容新型態建築的不受拘束的形容詞(流動、融合、突破...等等)。

用一個比較貼切的方式來形容你與這建築可能的互動方式：我可以忽略地穿過建築或者進去。

以往，我們只能＂到某個建築＂。

In Between

人與人之間的相處也許真的有什麼心電感應的，但大部分還是透過肢體、語言來轉訊，轉譯出對方心裡想的事情。絕大多數的人心裡都在想一些幼稚的事情吧？如果說出了那些幼稚的評論與尖銳深刻且不合乎道德觀念的玩笑話，想必你將成為被討厭的人。如果照著教條：十分安全而討喜。
這時候卻變成一種詭異的現象：很少有人真正歡喜來自於對方的原始忠誠。
我們都喜歡聽好話、在正確的場合聽到正確的聲音、看見正確的表現、吃正確的食物、擁抱正確的人......這都很棒，只是......太假了點。
不是這樣不好，如果每個人都暴露自己的原始思想，進而轉化成影響他人的表現，連買牛奶都必須害怕被一坨屎砸到頭，那也太不理智了。言論自由就是一個有限空間的自由場域，你可以做一些看來怪誕的事情-前提是別傷害他人。

曲巷弄間

上回在菜市場買了九顆土雞蛋，吃了幾顆之後，這蛋始終令人費解其成因。
包含蛋是怎麼生成的、雞與蛋的先後...等等問題，但那些都太過深刻而我無法解釋，我只想知道為什麼蛋黃這麼「橙」而且黏膩，煎個散蛋當早餐的時候，打蛋的碗底沾黏著的蛋黃不輕易滴落；煎成一顆熟成的荷包蛋之後蛋黃的顏色竟然是橙色，搞得我不覺得我在吃蛋了。看久了，這蛋究竟是高品質還是噁心？
我又想起JAMMIE OLIVER做的那集節目，有關肉雞、蛋雞飼養的過程，我想，我會很少吃蛋了吧。
這個冬天氣溫普遍很低，只要天氣稍微轉好不下雨出點陽光，你將會愛上河堤斜坡的舒爽，更棒的是，坐久了，到馬路對面的小巷子裡走走，將會發現許多美麗的植栽花朵，就連巷子歪斜的角度都是這麼自然地不自然，非常具有人性的住宅區域，住宅之外，多了一份「生活」的感覺，人與建築、環境、空間是有所交集與共成的。

水霧滅火的迷思

100%的水在熱煙層蒸發冷卻火氣的話，熱煙層的體積將會降到約為原來的80%；30%(70%接觸區劃牆壁、地板、天花板)的水在熱煙層蒸發冷卻火氣的話，熱煙層的體積將會保持與原來體積相同；有趣的是，小於30%的話，體積不降反升。

水在熱煙層(hot gas layer; upper layer)蒸發才是有效的。

計算原理(http://cfbt-us.com/wordpress/?tag=3d-firefighting)：基於此系統本身具有良好絕熱性(thermal adiabatic)來計算。

C_p,g=Specific heat capacity of fire gases/smoke (approximately the same as air, 33.2 J/mol K at 1000 K).

C_p,st=Specific heat capacity of steam (41.2 J/mol K at 1000 K)

C_p,w=Specific heat capacity of water (76.663 J/mol K at 215.15 K)

等式左邊為熱煙層氣體所減少的熱量；等式右邊的第一部分為水在熱煙層中蒸發(373.15K)所吸收的熱量；等式右邊最後一部分為水蒸發後達到平衡溫度所吸收的熱量。

由於壓力變化相對地很小，我們將之與常數項去除

再將公式套入

將不變的比熱數值植入

最後用計算例來說明最上面的圖

例一：B=1.0(100%的水在熱煙層中氣化)，計算結果為體積減少27%

例二：B=0.33(33%的水在熱煙層中氣化)，計算結果為體積減少3%

             

例三：B=0(水皆在區劃牆壁或熱煙層表面以外氣化)。計算結果為體積增加109%

以例三來看，在火場中使用無效的射水不但對於熱煙層介面提升及冷卻無幫助，反而還會降低熱煙層高度，這對於消防員及受困火場的人都有極大的危害。

起因是主管勤教的時候突然拿出一個歷史悠久(民國83年)的裝備問誰是今天的瞄子手，是我，他就把這個東西拿給我。

過敏性鼻炎

由於到吳明珠那看實在太貴(1250)了，過敏性鼻炎又是要常時間調養，這樣算下來我要花個幾十萬才會好呀？於是換了一間中醫診所。

這診所第一個優點就是人比較少，根本不用排隊，上次在吳明珠那耗了一整天。而且這老醫師用了老虎鉗撐開我的鼻孔叫我拿把鏡子看，讓我看看我的鼻孔有多小，真的超小，整個都被塞住了，在吳明珠那她只有把脈而已，相較之下，這邊大勝，而且也不用吃什麼貴死人的冬蟲夏草。

吃了第一包藥的感覺像是吃到了水泥，因為這藥粉也磨得太細了吧，喝水的時候藥粉還會黏在齒壁上，真的是水泥。

第一次看見自己鼻孔有多小，實在很驚喜，但有點噁心。

什麼樣的東西是有生命的，到底是怎麼確認的？
從高處丟下一顆皮球，從高處丟下一隻小狗，從高處丟下一隻小鳥，究竟有什麼不同？
皮球是人類製造出來的、小狗是生物、小鳥會飛......誰能擔保只有小狗受了最大的傷害而只有小狗有最強的感知能力來接受這麼殘忍的事實？

令人費解的無聊問題呀。
